Insulated glass units

Your windows’ energy efficiency depends, in large part, on the type of glass used. Marlboro makes its insulated glass units (two panes of glass in a hermetically sealed unit) in-house, from scratch. Our insulated glass units have a full range of features and options to improve energy efficiency, including an insulating dry airspace between its two panes, desiccant to prevent condensation and a warm edge spacer to further reduce heat and air transfer. Airspaces can also be filled with argon gas and double-sealed to enhance the window’s insulating performance.

We also offer a full range of glass coatings, including soft coat low-emissivity (low-E) and hard coat low-E, which can help reduce cooling and heating costs.

Vinyl windows

Typically used for residential windows, vinyl costs less than aluminum, comes in a wide range of colours and is warmer to the touch.
